About Mike “Mikey O” Oquendo………….

Mike Oquendo is the creator, producer and host of over 80 Theatrical and Comedic Productions yearly both in the Chicagoland area and throughout the Country. The Mikey O Comedy Show has been featured on Telemundo, WGN Television, Univision, People en Español, TimeOut Magazine, Broadway World and the Chicago Tribune.  Mike is especially proud of 3 notable milestones in his career: serving on the Board of Governors for the National Academy of the Recording Arts and Sciences which created the very first Latin Grammy Awards; being a concept contributor on 3 HBO Latino specials; and, lastly, creating his Community Partner Nights which raises about $90,000 annually for Local Non-Profit Agencies. Mikey O’s “El Show Latino” was recently featured in the 2011 TBS “Just for Laughs” Festival.  Mike is one of only a handful of Latinos to have trained in New York’s “Commercial Theater Institute”.
